Feed Reader is the ultimate tool of a blogger through which one can read all the content of various blogs without the need of visiting the blogs again and again.
FeedDemon is my favorite feed reader software which I have been using for over 1 year now. I bought a 1 year paid subscription of FeedDemon for $30 last year and soon when my subscription was about to expire I just came to know that NewsGator (RSS Company that created FeedDemon) is now offering FeedDemon as a free download so you don’t need to pay anymore to use this brilliant Feed software.
FeedDemon has some excellent features which make it better than any other feed software like Google Reader. It provides an excellent way to organize and manage your feed subscriptions. It comes with Feed Station which is a Podcast manager for iPod and window media player devices. The latest FeedDemon version is 2.6 which offers these cool new features:
- Panic Button – detects when you have a ton of unread items and offers to mark them (or a subset of them) as read
- Significant performance improvements
- Redesigned newspaper UI
- Significant improvements to offline reading support, including redesigned “prefetching” of feeds
- Inline page search
- Attention reporting/APML export
